Our Commitment
The Comfort Company is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, or keyboard-only navigation. We know many of our customers reach us during a difficult time, and removing barriers to using our site is part of how we take care of them.
Conformance Target
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the technical standard most widely recognized by courts, regulators, and accessibility professionals as the benchmark for website accessibility.
Measures We Have Taken
- Commissioned a technical accessibility audit combining automated scanning and manual keyboard/screen-reader-semantics review of our homepage, collection pages, product pages, and cart.
- Identified and prioritized a remediation plan targeting navigation, cart, and interactive-component issues site-wide.
- Established an ongoing review process so accessibility is checked as new pages, products, and features are added, not just as a one-time fix.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is not a one-time project. As we update our site, add products, and change themes or apps, we re-check our work against WCAG 2.1 AA and correct issues as they're found. We maintain a dated internal record of audits and fixes.
